(excludes roaming and Wi-Fi). How does AT&T Turbo work? AT&T Turbo allows customers to optimize their plans high-speed (premium) and hotspot data allotments by upgrading it to performance data, which helps the performance of their data connection, even during busy times on the network. AT&T Turbo does not provide extra data and does not apply to messaging or voice. If you exceed your existing allotments your normal network management applies. On AT&T Unlimited Extra EL after 75GB, AT&T may temporarily slow data speeds if the network is busy. On each eligible plan, after you exceed your hotspot allotment, your hotspot speeds are slowed to a maximum of 128 Kbps. How much does AT&T Turbo cost? The AT&T Turbo add-on costs $7/month per line and is a service that you can add to any eligible AT&T Wireless plan line with a 5G-capable smartphone. Am I eligible for AT&T Turbo? You can purchase AT&T Turbo if your line has a 5G-capable smartphone and one of these eligible plans: AT&T Unlimited Premium® PL AT&T Unlimited Extra® EL Certain AT&T Unlimited Elite® Note: Only the AT&T Unlimited Elite plan that is eligible to be included in an Unlimited Your Way group can add AT&T Turbo. If your bill or online account indicates that you have one or more lines on the Unlimited Elite – lines plan, then those lines are eligible to add AT&T Turbo. Does Video Management still apply? Yes, the Video Management of your rate plan still applies and applies automatically. We strive to render streaming video in standard-definition (SD), with a max speed of 2Mbps. For Unlimited Extra EL plans with only SD streaming, the Video Management feature stays on. For the other eligible plans, you default to SD streaming and to experience higher definition streaming, or if you have any issues, you can turn it off online any time. With Video Management on, other content bundled by content providers with streaming video may be impacted and slowed. This includes content such as video downloads, filters, lenses, and catalogs.
